Lost Angelic Chronicles of Frane, The: Dragon's Odyssey / Lost Memory of Angel Frane III Exe Create / ΩTH 2003

This is an action/role-playing game filled to the brim with laugh-out-loud humor and boasts more secrets and fun things to do than most any other game of this generation without making the player sink into the boring rut of level grinding. It's all about moving from place to place while quickly dispatching with hordes of enemies, finding tons of treasure, and making girls fall in love with the hero. Also, by helping those around you, players can see the world change before their eyes as a forest, in which the main character builds his house, grows into a bustling town. It places a balanced focus on story and player's interactions with other in-game characters. These interactions, of course, have far reaching effects that can trigger new scenes, and in the end, gives players a reason to play the game again and again. The story itself, remains light-hearted at the core, and is reminiscent of classic 2D RPGs from the Super Nintendo, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, and Playstation era. Features: a colorful cast of quirky characters rich with humor; an appealing story for gamers of all ages; a beautiful 2D world rendered with stunning detail; nearly the entire main story is fully voiced; the soundtrack has been newly composed and arranged with orchestral quality; fun puzzle solving; easy weapon, item, and food creation systems; a quick-paced and enjoyable battle system for gamers both young and old alike; adjustable difficulty levels; multiple endings; exquisitely drawn in-game artwork; contains an art gallery in which you can view the game's beautiful artwork; contains a sound gallery in which you can listen to the original Japanese soundtrack; more secrets and titles to find and collect than you can shake a stick at; a casino with multiple, dynamic ways of winning on the slots; casino tokens that can be cashed in for money or traded for special items; a massive side-quest to scour the continent in search of a man’s missing hamuras; numerous other mini side-quests that will net the player money or special items; keep a pet hen and grow a garden; have your fortune told using a gumball machine?!; PC gamepad support. An English release came out in 2011.
