This is a platformer with gorgeous animation based on the Italian animated movie of the same name. The story takes place in Naples in 1700. Totò Sapore is a poor young boy who, for a living, sings and accompanies himself on guitar. But Totò dreams of becoming a great chef. One day he meets Totò Pulcinella, who makes him a present of four pots (Pentolito, Marmittone, Tegamino Sora and Pasta) with the magic power to confer a succulent taste all the dishes prepared. With these tools, cook Totò begins a career which leads him to France at the court of the king. There, he faces stiff competition from French chef Mestolon and falls for a girl, Confiance, who is none other than the daughter of Mestolon. Totò aware that Mestolon also possesses magical instruments - he and his accomplice Vincenzone are in the service of evil Vesuvia, a witch who lives under the Vesuvius. Vesuvia hates Totò and all Neapolitans because of their unbearable good mood, and she sets out to start a war between France and Naples. |
