This CD-ROM provides you with an introduction to some of the mysterious events, creatures and happenings that mankind has encountered over the years. The CD-ROM contains video features on many of these strange phenomena, and supporting text, illustrations and photographs. The Stonehenge Mystery - In the Mysterious World you can visit Stonehenge as you would find it today. You can move around in directions indicated by your mouse cursor arrows. Find the six mysterious Rune Stones, the Druidical Staff and the Magic Crystal, and take these to the altar stone. You will initiate a magical transformation, and can see the sun rise over Stonehenge as it would have done at the height of its glory. Mysterious World Game - The object of the game is to travel from any of three different starting points, Stonehenge, Solomon's Temple and the Ziggurat, shown as flashing icons, and try and reach the Great Pyramids at Giza, at the top centre of the play-screen. As you will soon discover, as you travel the paths, you will find various items, many of which will be of use during your journey. There are many situations that require you to be carrying correct items to pass safely, and meet your final challenge at the Pyramids. By clicking on the icons at top right of the screen (TAKE, USE, DISCARD, RUN) the appropriate action is taken. On the top left of the screen next to the EXIT icon is an inventory panel. As you Take items that you find, they will appear in this panel. Only three items can be carried at any one time, but you can Discard or Use items in the inventory, to make room for others. Hints: To play an adventure successfully, you will need pen and paper; Keep a note of where items are for use next time you play; Keep an eye on your Health and Energy ratings at the very top of the screen. |
