This is a comedy adventure game in the vain of 'Monkey Island' and 'Day of the Tentacle'. Chapter 1: Monsters, Fires and Forbidden Forests (July 28). You play as Blithe Dalrich, a dream monster of the 'underworld' who, with the aid of his best friend Aphonic, sets off to stop an evil villain bent of destroying human dreams. Meet and converse with over one hundred colourful characters, all with their own distinct personality and quirks. Venture to sunny Caribbean islands, murky forests, dank caves, and even meet death himself. It encapsulates a large amount of mini-games and puzzles. With, one key game-play mechanic, the ability to time travel between two points in time. The time travel mechanic allows for greater puzzle variance, and story depth. It encapsulates the feel of both classic 2D adventure games, as well as the new ones. The game will be in 4 main chapters. We estimate the game will take around 8 hours to complete. Set in an imaginative world of monsters and creatures, the story entices exploration, conversation and world lore, which will both captivate and intrigue. All dialogue is voice acted, and we he have gathered together a collection of fantastic voice actors to capture fun and zany cartoon characters. This not only helps to bring life and personality into a character, but increases immersion in to the world. It has been designed to feel like a cartoon from Saturday morning cartoons. With plenty of puzzle and mini-games, it will be packed with fun challenges. With the ability to travel through time, the player has to think of new and exciting ways of solving challenges and puzzles. All artwork and animation is hand-drawn in HD to solidify a truly vibrant world for the player to explore. Featuring an immersive and cartoon stylized sound track, it has been designed to replicate a cartoon. Chapter Two: Time, Dreams and Underwater Travel (Jan 31/2017).
