This is a game set in an apocalyptic future ruled by different gangs that fight each other to survive. The player takes the role of a lonesome mercenary who joins the "Government of the New Order", an organization that looks rather fair in comparison to others. Once a member, the player chooses five other soldiers to serve the organization while looking for some answers about what happened to his family. This is a 3D party-based role-playing game, mostly oriented to combat and controlled by a point-and-click system. Some other remarkable features of the game are the usual day-night transitions with realistic routines for the NPCs, realistic flora and fauna, the possibility to travel using vehicles and secondary party members with their own story and personality. In Apr/2005, an Extended Version was released that adds new voice acting, improved graphics, better balance, bug fixes and two new maps with NPCs and quests. With a simultaneously released patch, owners of the previous release can upgrade their game without charge. In Aug/2006, a Reloaded version was released that included all previously released patches. The update adds new weapons, areas and quests, as well as graphical changes. The game was sold directly for a budget price. In 2007, an fan-made English patch for all in-game text was released. |
