These are alterations for one's computer to decorate it in a PaRappa look. It is a mixture of scenes from PaRappa The Rapper 2 and new game art based on the cast of the Anime. Uniquely, anime exclusive main cast characters were given game-style models/sprites, as they would look if they would have appeared in the game. It includes PC icons, Mouse Pointers, Wallpapers, Screensavers, Windows Sounds, Calendar/Schedule, Mascots (10 characters). The Mascots are character animations that go on about their own business on your desktop. You supposedly can interact with them by clicking on them. Taking up the entire screen space, the calendar allows you to somehow interact with Parappa, maybe as a guide or secretary. Screensavers are animations that play on ones PC monitor when it is not used. Back in the day the purpose was to save a monitor from not leaving a mark of still picture but nowadays it is used as an accessory. The animations available: The scene (simplified) from Stage 3: BIG, where Ma-san shrinks innocent passers-by; Clock depicting the main PTR2 cast + Anime cast, whom each represent an hour; Chop Chop Master Onion still images with fumes coming out from the top of his head; Danger Tick. Definitely not for kids. Only get this screensaver if you're an adult. |
