Unreal PT / PT for PC Radius Gordello, Qimsar 2018

PT for PC is a fan-made recreation by Qimsar of the famed Silent Hills demo P.T. (short for Playable Teaser) that was released on the PS4 before the game was cancelled by Konami. The project uses datamined assets ported to Unreal Engine 4 to faithfully remake the horror mini-classic. It uses a first-person perspective, in contrast to the usual third-person perspective often found in the Silent Hill series, and centers on an unknown protagonist who awakens in a supposedly haunted house and experiences supernatural occurrences; the only actions available are walking and zooming as the player character explores the continuously looping corridor. After the player solves the final puzzle, originally a trailer revealed that it was a "playable teaser" for a new Silent Hill title being directed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, with the protagonist portrayed by Norman Reedus. This project was shut down shortly after release by Konami. Another fan-made remake titled Unreal PT was later released in Jan/2019 by Radius Gordello. Textures, models, animations, gameplay, and code have been recreated from scratch. The gameplay is nearly identical to the original. The biggest difference is the very end of the game has been changed slightly to make beating it more consistent.
