The series "Tales From The Outer Zone" is made on a set of rules. The first rule is that it must be a low-res adventure game in the style of Moebius and Bilal. The second rule is that each episode must be separate stories with different genres, while still being a part of a bigger story. The third rule is that it has to be made in a few weeks as a part of a game jam. Cyborg Seppuku (Sep 2) A cyberpunk tale of marriage and self-destruction. You're a cyborg and your wife has left you. To find her you must escape "The Structure" - a dystopian city in which you are imprisoned. The only way of escaping The Structure is to rid yourself of your implants and become a plain-skin. Made for MAGS August 2018. The Goat Crone (Dec 24) An occult yule tale of responsibility and dark rituals. Alma has to prepare the yule ham while her father is out in the forest. But the nightmarish myth of The Goat Crone haunts her and her baby brother. This game was made in three weeks for MAGS December 2018. Fleshworms (Jun 24/2019) A catastrophic tale of hubris and oversized leeches. First you fly... Then you crash... And finally you deal with.. THE FLESHWORMS! Created in two weeks for #AdvJam2019. The Construction (Nov 27/2021) a gun-slinging tale of settlers and zygnoka. It was made in a couple of weeks for Adventure X Jam 2021. | ||
