The core staff of Wizardry Gaiden that was first on GamBoy in 1996 reunite and return to the series with a completely new story. This once again goes back to the core rules and monotonous dungeon walls. But the conservative approach also accounts for one of the games’ strengths: The monster graphics are all high resolution versions of the SNES games and look absolutely great. The game engine is set up to be able to load new episodes, as well. There is also an online editor that allows to load user created scenarios. You can toggle English text. An extra scenario titled Jihi no Fuzai (慈悲の不在), also known as "The Absence of Misericordia", was made available as a paid download on August 11, 2005 only for the PC version. |
