Spellcasting 101: Sorcerers Get All The Girls Steve Meretzky / Legend Entertainment Company 1990

This is another risque adventure from the mind of Steve Meretzky of Leather Goddesses of Phobos fame. After Infocom died, Legend was created to carry on the adventure tradition. Help bumbling nerd and wizard wannabe Ernie Eaglebeak escape the clutches of his evil stepfather and realize his dreams of becoming an apprentice wizard. Puzzles involving spells are very clever and logical. There are graphics in the game, but they are generally relegated to a corner of the screen, and can be removed, if desired, with a keystroke and be replaced by various status screens, a no-typing interface, or even an all-text display. It demonstrate the expert writing and designing of Meretzky with quite a bit good humor, and two different modes, naughty and nice. It's loaded with college type jokes (eg: Join the famous Tappa Kegga Bru or I Phelta Thi). It's enjoyable, funny, with intelligent humor, nutty and with a lot of sexual innuendo.
