The year is 2328. Earth and surrounding solar systems are about to become so much cosmic dust if the newly discovered, yet ancient, insatiable archaeological artifact known as the Armageddon Device isn't destroyed or, at the very least, stopped in its single minded purpose of destruction. This ancient and mysterious device has apparently got the capability and programming to drain the life forces from entire galaxies and star systems. It's just a matter of time before Earth has the misfortune to fall within the path of this potentially world-ending, life-threatening menace. This is a cinematic adventure in which you play the part of a character who is pulled from the past via a time portal into the present (24th century) by a scientist working on a distant space station. His reason for this rather intrusive time snatch? Simply put, to drop the responsibility for nothing less than saving all of humanity in your lap. To carry out this difficult task, you'll need to track down a human time traveler known as the Time Warrior from an alternate reality. Apparently, only he holds the key to stopping this voracious world killer. It uses a mouse driven interface for movement and menu selections for administrative functions. The game contains three difficulty settings and a fluid inventory system that allows you to select and use various items with which to interact as you progress toward your goals. |
