Two Worlds Reality Pump / SouthPeak Interactive 2007

This magical world full of swords and sorcery fantasy RPG game features incredible graphics, and amazing characters and storyline. In this world, the races are divided into two. There are the civilized races, humans and their allies who build cities and practice the high arts. Then there are the hordes, nomadic or beast-like people led by the orcs. The two groups lived peace for decades, but the recent discovery of an ancient temple that both races want to control has sparked war once again. As the main character in the game, players find themselves trapped between the two races and forced to make some very hard decision. The game has over 200 different endings, giving players the chance to play their character in wildly different ways. It's a game that focuses a lot on decisions. While they obviously affect the ending, what the player does also affects their in-game alliances and actions. Gamers can join guilds to learn new skills, but later, in order to learn different skills, they may have to betray their guild. This, of course, could alienate them from many of their strongest allies. Players have to weight all the factors when making a decision, else find themselves cut off from needed resources. Thrilling fight choreographies, gripping characters and realistic worlds create new dimensions in the genre. Players can experiment with different careers and even reverse their former choices with the help of "career changers". Players are allowed to assemble their own magic spells and can travel and fight on various animals from horses to tamed lizards and beasts. A choice of traps and snares are at the Player's disposal making the gameplay both rich and flexible. Randomly generated pieces of equipment, thematic sets and combined items offer the space to experiment and satisfy the need to collect. There's a wide range of beautifully rendered terrains: from high mountains to seashores and deep caves with all of the locations featuring ultra sharp texturing and stunning design. Hyper-realistic tree physics and sophisticated weather system make the world come to life as has never been seen before. Up to 8 players can play in the multiplayer mode. In August, 2008 came Two Worlds: Epic Edition which contains the original game and the add-ons "Tainted Blood" and "Curse of Souls", putting the massive world of Antaloor and countless hours of adventuring into one tremendous package. The original Two Worlds gave players a huge world and hundreds of adventures to undertake. The expanded content of Epic Edition adds over 70 online quests, eight new multiplayer maps, an innovative player-versus-player challenge where opponents battle to control magical orbs within a variety of arenas, and introduces the town of Tharnburg where players can train their warriors in various skills and challenge other players to combat in the Gladiator District's huge arena.
