This is an HD remake of the acclaimed 1994 top-down action game. Prepare for the dark world of The Chaos Engine, a steampunk Victorian age in which one or two players must battle the hostile creations of the Chaos Engine across four dynamic landscapes and take part in the ultimate battle. Choose from six hard-nailed mercenaries each with their own unique weapons and skills. Those who have the strength and skill to overturn the Chaos Engine will be remembered. The core of it is built around the original Amiga code. It's possible to switch off the modern blurry bling, removing that smoothing and returning the pixels to their right-angled glory. But there are a few modern concessions: online co-op with another player will be supported, and while there won’t be official additional levels, there'll be Steam Workshop support for extra levels from the community. |
