Based on the long-running syndicated game show, Jeopardy! offers real commentary from host Alex Trebek, a unique point-of-view that puts players "on the set," and three different modes of play (classic, solo, or tournament). True to the show, the game provides a wide variety of answers in categories ranging from the mundane to the absurd (Equestrian Etiquette, Soils of the Antarctic). If the last time you played Jeopardy! on the computer was back in the days of the 286 and Commodore 64, you'll be impressed with this version, with its digital version of the studio and full-motion video clips of Trebek. On the downside, the game doesn't offer have many comments from the host, so his commentary is repeated several times during a game. But overall, this is an eye-pleasing version of the game and a definite winner for the Jeopardy! fan. |
