Task Force Dagger is based on the Delta Force 3 engine, which already with the appearance of that game was not state-of-the-art graphics at that time either. Clearly about a year after Delta Force 3 this circumstance has not improved of course. This time one appears in 25 missions in Afghanistan. You can play as one of 10 Special Op Forces units deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom including Seal Team 6's role of medic, Green Berets heavy weapon specialists, CIA SOG snipers, etc. There's thirty weapons in all, with 17 being new to the series. Amongst this new arsenal is a UAV or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in which you can spy on the enemy or call in a devastating air strike. The missions are eventful - like always with Delta Force - and offer some short simple fun. The MP games are still the same, Flag ball, Death Match, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy, King of the Hill, and Team King of the Hill. Additional features include a Global Positioning System, mission briefings, weather changes, and a myriad of mission types focusing on infiltration, search and destroy, rescue, reconnaissance, and more. To those who know Delta Force, little really new will be found, but there is some enjoyment to be had still. | ||
