This is an unauthorized Russian standalone release of a mod with Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. In Search of the Books of the Dead is a continuation of the exciting action of the adventures of the indefatigable Sam Stone and the events of the Mummy movies. After the second overthrow of the priest Imhotep, the Book of the Dead Am Duat rested for decades in the family castle O'Connell. But now it's kidnapped and taken to Egypt by those who planned to bring back to life the ancient Egyptian priest again. If the third attempt at the resurrection of Imhotep is successful, he will become invincible. Only Serious Sam will go through a maze of pyramids and ancient tombs. On his way will stand the hordes of demons and the undead, who sensing the approach of the dark lord, pop out from their tombs and dungeons.
