Gioventù Ribelle (cancelled) [It] Gruppo di Filiera dei Produttori Italiani di Videogiochi / Dipartimento per la gioventù 2011

This is a standalone TC/mod of Unreal 3, developed by students and commissioned and released for free in 2011 by the Italian government to commemorate the 150 years of national unity. In it, the player fills the shoes of a rifleman in the Italian Resurgence war, tasked with delivering a message to the Pope, in order to negotiate a cease fire. Many of the the assets were ripped directly from Unreal 3, including the "Killing spree!" sound byte and the shock rifle sound effect, here associated with a 19th century musket. The game was universally panned by press and gamers alike, with several publications celebrating it as the successor of Big Rigs for the crown of worst game ever made. It has since then been recalled from official channels due to the poor reception, with sites such a Destructoid publishing mocking articles about it.
