A modern update of Space Invaders, this places you in control of a starfighter as you combat swarms and formations of enemies. Your control is limited to horizontal movement allowing you to dodge diving enemy ships and their arsenal. Of course you can also shoot back with a variety of weapons including laser cannons, heavy missiles, homing missiles, nuke bombs etc. Enemy behaviour is for the most part very tight and based on preset formations and movements however, some enemies have differing behaviour allowing them to build barriers to block your shots and protect units. There are also a few boss enemies which are larger in size and behave in more complex patterns. There are missions and each mission contains numerous levels of combat. The points you gain can be uploaded to a world wide list. |
