Legend of Medallions: Circle of God 1997

This is a large single-player addon (DLC) + mod. About 250 maps for the main story campaign. Partial conversion of the game: new models of monsters, weapons and objects, new sound effects and musical accompaniment in accordance with the location on the plot. LOMCOG is partly based on the games of the series " The Legend of Zelda ", mostly on the game " The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ". Some locations from that game in one form or another are transferred here, but it's still the same Quake 2: action movie and monster killing, searching for keys or buttons on maps, finding out and secrets. The player must collect 10 medallions in ten temples scattered in different locations. 10 episodes: one for each medallion. The first part of any episode is the road to the temple, the second part - inside the temple, the linear passage of the plot campaign. All weapons and items in the player's inventory remain with him throughout the campaign, however, unlike add-ons like "Remake of Doom 2", the ammunition limit is severely limited: almost the same as it was in the original Quake 2. Some secrets give the player the opportunity to collect coins "Golden Coin", which according to the story in certain places can be used to buy things from traders, and all in the story campaign of 9 traders. Usually they are located in front of the entrance to the next main storyline - the medallion temple, so that the player can buy the right thing before going to the temple. At the end of each temple is the boss of the episode. Bosses are different from ordinary monsters and, as a rule, have a significant health reserve and powerful weapons. However, technically it's the same Quake 2, not a game from the Zelda series, so the process of killing the boss is usually trivial: shoot and dodge. The LOMCOG add-on is probably the biggest for a single player of anything that was ever created for Quake 2. Keep in mind that some levels may slow down very much because of the primitiveness of the Quake 2 engine, so more or less a good computer (the top one for 2008 will go). As usual, not all maps can save the game because of an unknown problem in the graphical engine kmquake2, which is absolutely necessary for playing in LOMCOG. On some cards, you can still save the game, you can find out by trial and error. The joint game mode is supported, but not all maps have starting places for co-op players. The DeathMatch mode is not supported on most maps, this campaign is only for a single player.
