Set in the future, the game sees up to eight players racing well-armed vehicles around tube-based circuits attempting to earn money that can be used to pay entry fees for subsequent races and to upgrade their vehicles. In addition to being able to upgrade the engine and the weaponry on their chosen vehicles, players are able to spend money on shields, onboard computers, turbo boosts, and wheels. Money is awarded for inflicting damage on opponents, as well as for winning races. It boasts no less than 36 different circuits in total, divided into four championships in the single-player game. The also features network support for up to eight players, and there'll be several different multiplayer games to choose from, including "Last man driving," "Fox and hounds," "Greed," "Drive and let Die," and "Divided glory". It has realistic 3D-sound, wonderful sound effects and 12 high-octane music themes. |
