Trophy Hunter 2003: Legendary Hunting / Rocky Mountain Adventures Southlogic Studios / Infogrames, Inc. 2002

This game was made on the Aspen Engine which proved a large jungle environment could be created in-game. The game opens up the hunting simulation into wide maps with plenty of vegetation, but without the framerate hits. Players can customize a hunter and the weapons used too. As the player progresses through the game, skill points are awarded and the character grows to be a more efficient hunter. Multiplayer is included so that players can challenge each other in online hunts and compete for the monster prizes. It offers players a chance to hunt elk, black bears, mountain lions, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, caribou, grizzly bears, wolves, and moose. Available weapons include a shotgun, bow, crossbow, and rifle. Players must track their quarry, be stealthy, and hunt responsibly with a hunter they can customize. Other animals, such as red-tailed hawks, golden-mantle ground squirrels, mallard ducks, bald eagles, and trout also inhabit the hunting environments though they can not be targeted. Available areas range from Colorado to Alberta and include harsh weather conditions like driving rain and heavy snow.
