Weeeellll...
Like it was already said, UHARC is only (a very, very powerful) compressor, not a tool to rip games.
But it is no longer command line only, there's WinUHA as well. It's really nice and good - but I still stick to the command line version. And since version 0.6a can (finally!) do sfx-archives, I'm in the process of redoing all my game packs.
On topic: I'm neither a supplier nor a cracker nor an uploader. If I have an ISO and the time to do it, I usually can do rips (I hate crippled games, though and thus ripping means for me to rip it of a CD and not to rip stuff out). I used to love strategy games and have a small collection of old ones, from Dune2 and WarCraft to Dark Reign. I can do a simplistic and very basic site, if you really want to do such a project. Just never count me in to search for webspace, I'd just create stuff and provide you with a simple website.
BTW: I'm one of the abandonware guys; I do this because I love the classics, not because I want to support piracy.
Off topic: I didn't find any category on this board to introduce myself and also none to offer anything. I've been working with 3dsl in the past (Lufo Flausch mailed me an eternity ago!) and used to maintain my own site. Even today some of the reviews on old titles in 3dsl were reviews copied from my first abandonware site (For example bad toys 3d - which is kind of vexing me, because what was copied off was not a real review, but a few-line placeholder and it really sounds like that...).
Nestlesux might still remember me from another board where we suddenly were no longer welcome after the board "went pure" (abandonware).
I saw a topic here asking for help translating reviews to English. Well, I could help with that. But I could also offer better reviews of some games (especially the early ones as I played through most of them). Other than that I have gamepacks that are usually a few KB smaller than those 3dsl has.
And another thing I found to be totally missing: audio tracks. I can offer about 2.5 GB losslessly compressed audio cd music for games like HeXen, Quake, Half-Life and so on.
I also own a few games that 3dsl does not currently link to, like "The hidden below" and a few unofficial mission packs for Quake and so on.
Since I never had any contact to the 3dsl administration after the days when freedrive and i-drive stopped public sharing ages ago (wow! Must have been 1998 or something like that...) except for Lufo, I can only offer here to help with the site again.
Just tell me if you think you can use anything that I offered.
