Is the requesting of Source Codes for Games permitted in any way here on these forums?

I only see Games Requests, however I am very much interested in a very hard to find Source Code for an older PC game. I don't even know where I should post but I wanted to be sure Admins and Mods here have no problems with it first.

If it's not permitted at all then I'd go elsewhere for it, as I already had tried on 2 torrents community boards forums but haven't got any response back yet. Therefore I am not really getting my hopes up at this point.

Post it in "game requests" as long as it complies with the 3 year rule. (i.e., it has to be older than 3 years)
