If you're looking for a specific fix you should ask for it and someone will probably have it. I've never come acoss a RIP FIX site.

That would be a good idea that would be a site dedicated only for rip fixes because some expansions needs a good .reg file or a good crack to work properly with the original game; i.e. Call Of Duty United Offensive or Wages Of Sin.

In Addition the most of the games works better on Windows 98 than on Windows XP and some doesn't work at all on Windows XP. And in the near future it's going to be necessary to make works this "old" games on windows XP and on Windows Longhorn.

i dont think so...
remember that there are many collectors which have many fixes for their classic games.
i was think about project with only fixes archive some time ago.
i would be very original & useful project.
i'm always looking to do something, what still not exists but would be useful.
maybe good idea is start special section in 3dsl called fixes?
i can help with it, i have many fixes for old games, known many people who have too, and i did many fixes =)

Yeah, it would be great if someone had the time to do these, not only official patches for rips, but fixes that people come up with themselves to get old games running on new systems. We could have a different color download bar under each game for these....

Sooner or later the old game scene will be forced to update itself. Who is gonna do it? Mmmm maybe the owner of
Code: Select all
www.the-underdogs.org
, he will be forced to make or search good cracks/updates/fixes/ for his games. who more? :)

There already is some good info on how to get their rips working in their forum.
The creator of that site is a "she" by the way.

I too have many update and fix's - I also have the Unprotect V10 DVD that has 9GB of fix's/updates etc etc on it but for some reason my dvd burner won't read it (but my old dvd reader will - go figure) also go many of the updates off the website before they went down in 2001 + the source code for V10 if anyone wants it :D

some games of underdogs is fudge up or are bullshit.
for example, nascar racing is missing with many tracks, combat air patrol installation was only for advaced collectors, you should do installer for it... etc
more titles i dont remember, but i remember there was many shitty ripz.
thats why i dont try to get something from there.
project is ok, but they should patch & fix their downloads!
