Postby hurenBock » Mon Jan 17, 2005 11:55 am

hi there,

i downloaded shadow warrior ww2gi and nam but there`s one thing
thats confusing me

i can run all of these games but just in "normal mode"
with a 320x200 resulotiun

when i try to play these games in SVGA / VESA 2.0 mode
they dont run! the games are just crashin back to desktop

i already downloaded a XP dos emulator but the programm is sh*t
fuc*in! slow! and it dont works right too ;-)

i really like these old dos games like duke or hexen
anyways can someone tell me if theres a vesa 2.0 driver for
my geforce fx5200 ?

(i know Sh*tty card)

bye

Getting BUILD-engine games to run on Windows XP can be extremely difficult. Blood and Shadow Warrior are the worst games of the lot to get running properly in Windows XP.

Check out http://www.deathmask.net/buildxp/ for more info. ;)

Another Way around old dos games not loading/working in 2k/xp is making your system Duel boot - have 98se and xp on your system - so if it don't run in 2k/xp just boot up 98se and play - or do as I did and revamped a P1 233 machine that just loads dos 7 with all the good old hardware inside and play play play :D
