I played through the first level on the PC. I was expecting it to be as rewarding as part 1, but IMO it wasn't.

I'll be better off playing the Wii edition I think. The controller adds to the fun. I just hoped the PC version would be more uncensored/uncut...

I assume from the way you said that, that it wasn't uncensored?

Basically there's two forms of censorship with this title:
1) having the devs rip out some good scenes and action.
2) having the devs obfuscate what action's left in the game.

In all versions officially released, the #1 form is applied. However, there was a PSP leak (I think) that had more vivid footage (longer/better camera cuts, etc) of some executions. This leak still has the game the way it was intended.

So, all releases are censored. But on top of that, the footage that is left in is obfuscated and 'tweaked' a bit so as to reveal even less. There are some (relatively succesful) hacks that work around this (including one on the Wii release), which do help a bit with de-obfuscating scenes (removing red screen overlays to actually being able to see things). But still all that's left is a game that IMO is quite meager when compared to its predecessor.

Check this thread for a little comparison. ;)
