It seems to have a good options menu for changing your setup to have certain codecs switched off ,if they are interfering with a game or something.
Minimum requirements:
Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1
Does anyone know about this codec pack?,or whether k-lite codec pack is better.

I think it was originally started to support Hi10P content and ended up as a full codec pack,
