Install instruction, taken from here:
Here is an extract of the Install Guide from Davide:
1) Install the Super Pro files by Slikk in a folder of your choice (for example "D:\USAF Super Pro"):
Super Pro Disk1
Super Pro Disk2
Super Pro Disk3
Super Pro Disk4
Super Pro UI WinXP (ONLY FOR WIN-XP USER)
Super Pro patch
Super Pro Mission patch 1
Super Pro Mission patch 2
2) Copy the 16 terrain files from the USAF stock version terrain folder (“USAF\Resource\Terrain”) to
“D:\USAF Super Pro\Resource\Terrain” folder.
3) Install the USAF Super Pro Tools in the Super Pro installation folder (if you follow the example: in
"D:\USAF Super Pro").
4) ONLY FOR WIN-XP USER: Run USAFconfig.exe (from USAF Super Pro folder), set the "Primary video
driver" (do not select your video card driver even if it is available in the dropdown box) and click on "Test"
button.
5) Run the USAF Super Pro Tools, create a new pilot with the pilot editor and have fun clicking "Start USAF
Super Pro" button (after the selection of the mission you want to fly and the load of the proper mods files
as described in following section).
NOTE 1: In the Super Pro Tools the install path fix is not more present. Its function is now integrated in the
program and the proper files are patched in background after a new terrain-airbase mod file is
loaded into the game. So now the situation is more easy.
NOTE 2: The Super Pro Tools setup program makes an automatic configuration of the terrain file location
and sets it to the Super Pro default terrain folder. For example if you install the Super Pro Tools in
“D:\USAF Super Pro” the Super Pro Tools setup program automatically set the terrain files location
to “D:\USAF Super Pro\Resource\Terrain”.
If you want to use for all USAF versions one common folder for the terrain files you can skip the
point 2 (don’t copy the terrain files) and set the terrain file folder location later from the Super Pro
Tools window by pressing the “Set Terrain files Location” button.
In this case during the Super Pro Tools setup you will obtain an error message that advise you that
the terrain files are not found. Don’t care of this. When you will run the Super Pro Tools for the first
time press the “Set Terrain files Location” button insert the folder where the 16 terrain files are
inside and all will be ok.
