This is a cool mod for Quake2. Its been around for about 6 years. Axis fight Allies in 100s of maps. With many different classses and ablities. Its great gameplay and very adictive. And recently is being modified more. A new game engine and model support.

hey people. I started a new Standalone on Moddb.com Quake2 is not needed anymore to play. I was wondering if the Mods section for DDay Normandy could be updated. Or maybe we could start a 3d shooter Standalone section for games. Or just add it to the year 2007 section of 3d shooter Legends webpage.

Here is the link to the Standalone version of DDay: Normandy

Thanks

Cool, nice work!! :D
There are other standalones in the Mod/Addon page, right now they go there if they use an existing game's engine. That page needs new additions badly.

cool cool. we are just trying to get more players involved in DDay. Its been around I think since 1999. you know. better games better graphics etc now-a-days. but the gameplay is insane.

i also noticed that the review link for the mod is dead. here is a current link for the review for the game

Since the Quake 2 engine is GPL, you need to put up some source code download links as well on that site unless the source is included in the main installer.

If he did I don't know where he put them. They should be on the moddb website with the rest of the downloads for convenience purposes.
