Hmm, that's alittle harsh I think. Germanys censorship problem is more of an over reaction by the civil authorities, to keep the poulation passive. Like seeing blood or gory in video games, or talking about nazism will somehow ressurect the zombie corpse of nazi germany, and have it go stomping off across europe like some godzilla monster. It's rediculous. Germany needs to shake off the ghosts of its past at this point in history, but remember the harsh lessons learned. It's not like nazi germany had bloody video games that were a catalist for the rise of fascism.
Your arguement could really be made against Japan. Japan has long denighed most responsibility for WW2, or NaKing, or Death marches, or Slave labor, or biological weapons testing on civilians. These things and the reasons behind the war are and have been largely glossed over in Japanese text books. They've had a kind of 'abusers' mentality, 'You made us do it, so it's really your fault.'
