Konung III may be a quality title, I haven't looked at any reviews yet....

It's simply abysmal. Horrible, totally outdated graphics, buggy and extremely boring. It was released only in Russia. And I'm not gonna upload it.

Is this a curatorial project or an archival project?

The creators begun to mix FPS with Strategic tactics and Simulation.
The games become more short, too short. The standard now are 4 to 6 hours.
The creators are more occuped thinking on put more and more pixels than make a really enjojable game. I don´t play only for the graphics, it seems they create a game only to stay with par on modern hardware not for the game itself.

I agree. Deus Ex was 600 Mb's, it had a good length and it rocked.

I just played crysis 2 a 10 gig game - it was way short and unlike Dues Ex has No reply value.

Game devs should get a clue and make longer games that have great graphics but not so much where eye candy becomes more important than game play/story.

You could have a game that's only 4 gigabytes that's 3 times the length of Deus Ex and have great graphics too. Oblivion is the only game I can think of that comes close.

It's one disgusting and pathetic console crap. I hate this one badly.

Mass Effect is a great game for me. It contains all what I like: SciFi FPS, Action, space exploration, hidden worlds discovering, RPG like updating. It is some kind of extended Privateer which I played at the early ninetees.

Wow, another whiny and bitter "elitist" gamer on the internet. How original.

Quick, think of some kind of asinine assumptive insult where you falsely accuse me of being too young to appreciate games properly, while I go over here and pretend I care enough to ever bother checking back here for your embarrassingly childish reply.

I agree as well that PC gaming is going downhill. It's tough to find anything PC-exclusive that is a decent title, the non-PC-exclusive ones are mostly console ports and you can't really approach them without a gamepad. Every now and then I'm beginning to turn to independent software developers but even they have a hard time providing something unique. They do however have a higher chance of providing something enjoyable, since in their case it's often a labor of love.

Otis, may I recommend you:

The Ball by Toltec Studios, a first-person puzzler with an Aztec feel...
DeathSpank series (console ports, sadly) - RPG pastiches that'll give you a decent laugh -- they don't try to be unique, they mock the industry's most often repeated cliches ad absurdum.
Culpa Innata, an adventure game I provided recently -- the dystopian vision of the future will get you thinking even despite the outdated graphics, especially if you keep that in mind that adventure games seem to follow their own path in GFX evolution.

BTW, could you do me the courtesy and kindly upload that Konung III? Yes, I know it sucks. I hardly managed to finish one and two -- but I *LOVE* bad RPGS :D

Search it in Runet. It's easily available there.
