Event Horizon was a sci-fi/horror movie from the director of Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil and starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill. Though it wasn't too successful at the box-office, it has grown a cult of admirers on dvd. The effects, set design, and spooky atmosphere are all well done. The story was of a galactic exploration ship with an experimental drive that was presumed lost but reappears with its crew all dead. Another ship is sent to find out what happened and to bring it back to Earth. This mod faithfully recreates the ship's design and some of the plot. It uses new models, textures, and sounds. The combination of a great spooky movie with an awesome scary game can only mean great things for your Doom gaming experience...be sure to go to the bathroom before firing up your game, why waste precious playing time explaining accidents? |
