This game was made not only as a form of emotional expression, but also as an acknowledgement of events that happened to the developer and people around her she cares for. Trigger warning for abuse, ostracism, suicide, rape and murder. Basically if you're easily triggered probably don't play this. It's a game about the circumstances we are given in life, how they are unavoidable. But how we cope with them is important. It takes the classic RPG adventure genre and common tropes, warps them and then applies consequence and morality. Forcing the player to question what they would do to get what they want. It's a unique mix of cute, lowpoly fantasy world and the confronting reality of what life really entails for a lot of us. |
