Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos - Joey the Passion Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, Inc. / Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. 2004

The Power of Chaos series continues with Joey the Passion. This game brings hundreds more cards to the series, a new computer opponent to battle, and a new 2-player LAN mode. There is also a new duelist level ranking to show how good you are. Joey the Passion lets you play using the 350 cards from this game, as well as the ability to use cards from the other games in the series that you have won if you have those games. So, if you have a great deck from one or both of the other games in the series, you can bring that over to Joey the Passion and improve it with cards from this game. Cards are not backwards compatible, however. So you won't be able to use Joey the Passion cards in the other games. Although advertising a brand-new interface, you will find that everything is really the same, but with new graphical features, just like the differences between Yugi the Destiny and Kaiba the Revenge. This game has a street feel to it rather than the Egyptian feel of Yugi and the futuristic feel of Kaiba. The new 2-player LAN mode lets players duel it out on a LAN. This mode is not available for Internet play, so find yourself a LAN to try it out on. Also new to this game is the ability to have your opponent (Joey) play using a deck of only the cards from this game, or with cards from all three games. This helps to add some more replayability to the game as your opponent has more cards to choose from. Gameplay is the same as the rest of the series, although Joey has different strategies than are found in the other games just as different human players have different strategies.
