Croc discovers a message in a bottle from a couple looking for their long-lost crocodile son. After taking the message to King Rufus, Croc decides that the people who sent the message might be his real parents and that he should go look for them. Take control of Croc as he explores multiple levels in four different villages in an effort to find his parents. Luckily, go-karts, hang gliders, hot air balloons, and other vehicles help to speed the adventure along. Besides the obligatory gem collecting, there are also four jigsaw puzzles pieces that open up secret levels, and a merchant known as "Swap Meet Pete" will sell players powerups including "Gummi Savers Jumps" which allow Croc to jump to higher places. The one novel introduction to Croc 2 is the addition of something called "Omniplay" which allows two players to control a single character. | ||
