Tir-nan-og III [J] Systemsoft Alpha 2002

This is a sequel to The Sign of Chaos and is the third game in the Tir-nan-óg series of role-playing games based on Irish myths. The plot continues the events of the previous game, as the legendary hero and the princess of Fianapia travel to the land of Serokyu, the fifth kingdom that became affected by the ensuing chaos as the light of the ancient goddess Dana began to fade away. Visually and gameplay-wise the game is almost identical to its immediate predecessor, offering the same Ultima-like mechanics with open-ended exploration and tactical turn-based combat. Changes are mostly cosmetic, such as graphical images for individual locations in towns. A total of 292 characters will appear in the game, of which 74 will be friends, and any of the 74 characters will form a party and adventure. In addition, it is equipped with a scenario generate function that allows you to create scenarios with different combinations of place names, personal names, characters and events from the terrain of islands and dungeons, and items that can be obtained in adventures are swords, armor, shields, and equipment. 279 pieces, 76 types of magic, 232 types are available. The battle scene adopts a real-time system in which the characters start moving all at once at the command of the player.
