Piggy In Numberland Legacy Interactive Inc 1999

This invites youngsters ages 3-7 to learn about basic numbering, addition and subtraction, place value and geometric shapes as they explore the whimsical world of Numberland. Eleven different games include options such as completing dot-to-dot pictures and coloring them, a treasure chest concentration game, and falling blocks containing an addition problem which need to be placed on the correct answer. Student progress is measured in the brain power section where a part of the brain is colored for each activity completed. Once all the activities for a specific game are completed, the youngster is rewarded by being able to make a toy in the Imagination Machine Game Room. Eighteen toys are included and are made by matching the geometric shapes needed for construction. The excellent sound and graphics keep children engaged. All the instructions are given verbally so there is no need for adult intervention once the youngster knows how to use a mouse. A superb example of educational software. It was later modified and re-released as Stuart Little: His Adventures in Numberland which was one of the cd's of Stuart Little Learning Adventures.
