Transfusion is a Quake1 engine standalone source mod of the game Blood. So far, just the Multiplayer part of Blood has been converted while getting the majority of the single player game's functionality at the same time. It supports bots using the FrikBots system. Originally called just "qBlood", it was renamed to "BloodBath" before becoming Transfusion. It was later updated to the Dark Places engine, a much updated Quake 1 engine also used by the Nexuiz game. It is fully 3D and much of the media has been replaced with real models. The Transfusion CD, available before, was a compilation of maps from Blood, tools for map making in Transfusion, as well as the installer and SDK for Transfusion 1.01. |
