This game focuses on co-op between three players trying to eliminate a deadly parasite of unknown origin. It differs from its predecessors in that this time it is a tactical shooter enriched with survival horror elements, as the enemy to fight is an alien parasite mutating into different forms. In total, the game offers 12 maps with procedurally generated challenges to face. To do so, we have to take on the role of one of 18 operators, already appearing in the previous installment of the series - Rainbow Six: Siege. Among them are Ela, Fink, Vigil and Doc. Each is characterized by unique properties. The alien parasite mutates and takes various forms. In the game 10 different archetypes defining Archæans abilities were implemented. Additionally, black substance grow on the maps, affecting the ability to move - they slow down operators and increase the speed of opponents. These spots can be destroyed with explosives or gunshots. If a player-controlled character falls during a mission, they will receive an MIA status. This will block the use of that operator for a certain period of time. |
