In this exciting arcade game there are only ten levels, but you will not be able to pass them with a swoop - the game is quite difficult. Each stage is a separate game screen with a kind of grotto in a cave or just an uncomplicated corridor with an entrance and an exit. We have to, controlling a small aircraft, get to this very exit. Considering that at some levels the passages are rather narrow, it is problematic to fly our plane without losses. But our main task is to destroy five turrets located on the floor, ceiling and walls at each stage. Enemy guns shoot accurately, and you need to manage to shoot them down earlier. At many levels there is another obstacle - a chaotically jumping green ball, collision with which (as with any surface) will take our lives. In the event of the death of the plane, we again start the level from the left edge of the screen, but the turrets that have already been knocked out will not be restored, - though thanks for that. By the way, we will not be allowed into the escape passage if all the turrets are not destroyed. The controls in the game are the simplest: arrow keys (up - moving forward, left and right - the corresponding turn) and space bar - shooting. It's pretty hard to fly - our aircraft is so sensitive to control. At the bottom of the screen you can see the points scored and the level number, but where is life? And here everything is conceived in an original way. For each turret knocked down, we are given a hundred points, the same amount is taken away when we die - and the game will end when we have zero. That is, there are simply no pre-determined attempts. Despite this, as already mentioned, the game is quite difficult. Despite the primitiveness (an airplane in the form of a triangle, turrets in the form of a semicircle), the graphics are pleasant, each stage is decorated with different colors. The musical accompaniment is just excellent, and the sounds of shots and explosions are present. |
