Billed as a combination of Asteroids, Robotron, and Paint Shop Pro, mono is a shooting game with a player-controlled difficulty - depending on what colors the player stands on, they will behave differently. Enemies paint the screen behind them when shot, and the amount of different colors the player is standing on at any given moment affects whether enemies will return fire, move faster, or home in on the player. Mono features two game modes, Black and White, which differ only in the starting color of the background. |
