The difficulty level is somewhat high because of the various systems involved, and the game is played like an action game where the player fights and learns over and over again. There are three gauges around your ship, which are consumed when you attack, evade, or take other actions. The gauges are rotated by pressing the rotary key, and the recovery power of the gauges varies depending on the position of the gauge. The higher the position, the higher the recovery. The game also features an evasion bonus, whereby the three gauges are recovered significantly by avoiding enemy attacks with evasive action. Although there is a risk of being hit by an attack, it is quite exhilarating when you succeed. There are more than five characters to choose from, so you can use your favorite character to attack, or you can use a different character to enjoy the game. Scenarios are included between stages. The total number of episodes is 10, which is long for an STG, so those who enjoy scenarios will also enjoy the game. Scenarios can be skipped, so those who just want to enjoy STG can also do so. The characters are unique and there are beautiful single pictures in between the scenarios. Gamepad operation is recommended. |
