This is a fan-made game for the Retro Remakes Competition in 2004 of Battle-Field, a 1988 game by Gavin Wade, Chris Edwards (published by Atlantis) for Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum. Superb 2 player action in a top view single screen shooter - 'Kill or be killed' as you fight your way through the 8 different battle zones. Cunning, fast reaction and accurate shooting are all needed if you want a beat your opponent in this 2 player, 'tank versus tank' battle simulation. Each player tries to destroy the other players futuristic tank by hitting it various times to win the game. There are various screens that can be selected and each screen has various walls and barriers that need navigating round as the players try to find the perfect shot to hit the other players tank. Once a player has lost his lives then the game is over and another screen can be selected. |
