This is a remake of Yakuza: Ishin! the samurai spin-off of the Yakuza series first released in 2014 exclusively in Japan on PS4. Don the clothes and weaponry of the elite to become the samurai of legend, Sakamoto Ryoma. It's an action adventure game in which we explore a small open world, densely filled with missions and activities. In addition to the extensive main campaign, the authors have also prepared a mass of optional side adventures. At the heart of the gameplay is an extensive arcade combat system, allowing you to use four styles with different purposes and techniques. In skirmishes the protagonist uses mainly sword and fists, but there are also firearms. We can develop the hero's skills, physically strengthening him and teaching him new attacks. In addition to clashes, the game offers a plethora of challenges, usually in the form of various mini-games, such as singing, dancing, gambling, fishing, cooking or cock racing. All these activities are accompanied by separate stories, often unrelated to the main storyline. The Deluxe Edition both adds challenge to your journey and gives you additional resources to overcome it. As befits a remake, compared to the original, the game offers heavily improved graphics. The refreshed version of the production was built on Unreal Engine 4. Thus, it is the first installment of the brand that does not use the proprietary technologies of the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio team. It is worth mentioning that in the remake many of the characters' faces have been modified to resemble characters from the Yakuza series installments released after the release of Yakuza Ishin in Japan . |
