Second War 5 Union Software Group 2001

In this Spanish shmup we play as a spaceship that, while in outer space, fights - no, not with other ships and not with asteroids, but with monsters, which, apparently, can freely stay and move in such conditions without any protective equipment. Some bunches with limbs, with claws, or remotely anthropomorphic creatures also with claws; some have a smiling or surprised facial expression (while it does not change - there is no animation here). Each level is a single screen with a black background, sparsely "decorated" with distant stars (it's worth saying that the latter are moving, creating the illusion of vertical scrolling - but don't be deceived: in fact there is none), at the bottom of which is our a ship (but it is possible to move around the entire screen), and monsters scurry about at the top. The goal is to destroy all enemies, after which there will be a transition to the second level, which differs only in the number and - sometimes - variety of monsters. We have only three lives for the whole game, and this is criminally small, since any hit or collision is fatal; at the same time, the enemies endure a whole line. Monsters attack us with some balls, but sometimes they can "ram" - drop sharply to the very bottom of the screen and rise again. This action is not only impossible to predict, but also extremely difficult to dodge. There are no bonuses - additional lives or weapon upgrades - but the number of enemies increases with each level, and already at the third level, the difficulty starts to go off scale. Graphically it looks very poor, cheap and artisanal. The gunfire sounds are not the most pleasant, and the background music - ostensibly cosmic, but actually industrial - is of poor quality and more annoying than setting the pace.
