This is a fangame created by Ace9921 (from Gradius Home World) and is an unofficial sequel to the Japan-only Salamander 2 (Salamander is the spin-off of Gradius). Features: 6 ships - Vic Viper, Metalion, Lord British, Jade Knight, Falchion β, Super Cobra; Side and vertically scrolling stages (15 in total including Boss Rush); Armor to ships (which enables them to survive shots without a shield, but not collisions); Gradius respawn points; Boss Rush consisting of several old Gradius and Salamander bosses; Weapon edit, unlockable when loop 1 is complete(mix and match every weapon included in the game); Power-up bar; 4 different paint jobs available for every ship plus health bar for the ship; Hand-drawn animated sequences for the intro/ending, when you're done selecting a ship and when you enter the Weapon Edit mode. |
