Asteroid Shooters Vitaly Antsiferov 2008

This small space shooter was created in Borland Delphi 7 by a ninth grade student of one of the schools in the city of Chernogorsk, located in the Republic of Khakassia. The schoolboy sent his work to the editors of the Igromania magazine, as a result of which the game was published on a disk for the May 2008 issue. It's a shooting game similar to Asteroids, but with some changes. The action takes place, of course, in space. The playing field is not limited by the screen area, but somewhat larger - green lines forming a rectangle serve as its edges. The ship controlled by the player can move freely within this rectangle. The enemies are asteroids, and they behave more like ships, and not like ordinary space bodies. Asteroids appear on the field in groups, after which they chase the player. Sometimes they appear in the form of a ring around the ship, which makes you act very carefully and quickly. The health reserve is large, in addition, there is a constant regeneration. The only bonus is that for every several thousand points, a certain weapon is given that destroys all enemies on the screen (it works once, but you can accumulate up to three units). The graphics of the game are made in Paint, as reported by the author himself, but still looks neat and even a little spectacular. Musical accompaniment - industrial rock songs.
