Defend the Earth from a huge battleship in this classic, bullet-hell shooter, akin to such games as R-Type and Gradius. Beware however, as the enemy will change its tactics depending on its arsenal's effectiveness in battle, focusing its firepower on what actually works. You have three weapons, and you can change your current weapon with X or C: RAPID SHOT - Focuses all firepower straight ahead of you; SPREAD SHOT - Spreads its shots across the battlefield. Has a large range, great for hitting enemies coming in from the sides; CHARGE SHOT - Fires a single, large and very powerful shot. It will clear all bullets in its path, making it useful as a defensive measure. The enemy drops five powerups when destroyed. They power up your speed, health, and one of your three weapons respectively. All power-ups will recharge 1 health, however the health power-up will recharge it by 2 and also increase your max health by 1 (to a maximum of 9). You can choose between a static and dynamic camera. Static camera will keep the player focused. Dynamic camera will steer the camera towards the center of the playing field. |
