Ancient Arenas Ben Librojo 2006

In this single-player first-person shooter, the player competes against five AI-controlled characters in a deathmatch tournament. The tournament is divided into six history-themed levels: Palace Entrance, Greek Sanctuary, Victorian Town, Highland Castle, Medieval Monastery and Egyptian Tomb. To progress to the next level, the player must win five rounds in the current one before any of the opponents. A round is won after scoring 20 frags. There's a wide selection of weapons scattered around the levels, including assault rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers, napalm and plasma guns. To gain an edge over the enemies, the player can collect four types of power-ups with temporary effects: Quad Damage (quadruples the damage inflicted), Time Shift (slows down time for the enemies), Protection (doubles the maximum health points and adds regeneration) and Invisibility. For additional protection, the game also has health packs and armor. All of these can be used both by the player and the AI opponents. When killing an enemy the game may show a cinematic slow-motion replay of it, although this can be deactivated in the options menu.
