In this vertically scrolling shooter sequel, the player has to save mankind from annihilation by an evil alien race. The player controls a hyper modern space ship that can be equipped with various weapons such as lasers and rockets. Enemy ships come in many varieties such as small scouting ships and large mother ships and they all need to be blasted apart. Killing enemies earns money with which better weapons can be bought. Aside from weapons there's also droids which will float around the player's spaceship and do their job automatically. Pilot your ship in 5 huge galaxies and 50 futuristic 3D levels to find all the pieces of the secret weapon. The enemies are all made in three-dimensional graphics, the backgrounds are very beautiful, the graphic and light effects are excellent and the music is truly pressing. What differentiates this from classic shoot'em ups is the possibility that each level passed, based on the points earned, you can buy upgrades for your weapons, defenses, satellite droids and new and more powerful spaceships, you can always buy missiles of power greater that you will need as you reach harder and harder levels. The bar on the left side of the screen indicates the remaining energy of the power-ups, while the one on the right is the ship's energy. |
